Personal Statement
My goals have always been to help lead Servite baseball to the CIF playoffs and Trinity league championship, then to play baseball at an excellent university. I am a hard worker and want to get better every day. I am a left handed pitcher that can consistently throw strikes and keep the ball down. I rely on three pitches: a fastball with a lot of movement, a change-up that keeps hitters off balance , and a strong curve ball. I pitch to weak contact which results in ground balls and popups. And I strike out a lot of guys by moving the fastball in and out, and dropping in my hard curveball. For the season, I made 15 appearance as the team's primary long reliever, pitched nearly 30 innings, had an ERA of 1.52, with 35 strikeouts. My longest stint was against J Serra ( 6 innings, 0 runs) and I also got the Win in relief against Santa Margarita. For the season, opposing teams had a batting average of only .131 against me.
