My name is Braedon Hobson and I am currently a junior at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California. My freshman year, I started at third base and assumed that is the position I would stay in, but over time I realized I feel most confident and successful when I am playing in the outfield. I feel like I can contribute the most to my team while I am out there. I also can contribute positively for my team on the bump as a pitcher. I am supportive of my teammates, competitive and extremely hardworking. I think my greatest attribute is flexibility and my willingness to learn.
In my freshman year I was not as strong as I wanted to be, but after pushing myself and remaining dedicated, I have seen myself grow both physically and mentally. I am able to perform both athletically and academically and will continue to strive to achieve these goals during my college career. I hope to play college baseball and someday be able to play professionally. I’m not afraid of hard work, and I want earn my spot on a great team.
