Derek Jeter once said "There may be people who have more talent than you, but there's no excuse for anyone to work harder than you do - and I believe that."  I know that no matter what my goals are in life, whether it be becoming a major league baseball player or becoming an engineer, I'm going to have to work for it every day.  Not only do I bring hard work, perseverance and dedication to a team but I also bring leadership.  I’m a part of an organization called TVIA (Teen Volunteers in Action), which has given me the opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering my time to help support people with disabilities and the less fortunate.  My hard work doesn’t stop on the ball field it also crosses over in to the class room.  I have a 4.0 GPA, am bilingual and AP certified in Spanish. I am team oriented and a born leader, and I cannot wait to bring my championship attitude and farther my baseball career in college, showing everyone that hard work pays off.
