Drew McNear '24 Recruiting Profile

I like to aim high when I consider my collegiate goals and aspirations.   I embrace the challenge of setting my goals high because I believe that’s where i can maximize my growth.  Being a great teammate and doing whatever I can do to help the team win is a priority for me.  I play the game of baseball with intensity and fire but also with calmness and composure.  I am very hard working in school, on the field, off the field, and always trying to be a better person.  I do consider myself a team leader while leading by example and performance.  I am a believer in Christ, believe in having good Christian ethics, and I am consistently working on my craft of becoming a complete ball player.  Currently, I am working out at Push Performance, Florida Baseball Armory with Randy Sullivan, and Hi-pro hitting with Chris Dunn.   My college baseball goals are to play at the highest level my abilities will allow, but more importantly I want to find the right fit and make an impact.  While having my fair share of championships, I’ve also had failures as a player.  I see failure as an opportunity to grow but nothing beats winning a big game.
