Ryon Smith '26 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to not only play baseball at the college level but to play in the majors; the Blue Jays.  I am a hard worker who is willing to put in the work. I listen to my coaches and I know that makes me a player who is easy to coach.  I balance my love for baseball by playing other sports that actually helps me perform better on the baseball field. I also play basketball and football. Sometimes it is hard, but I know that once I commit to a team, I need to make sure that I give it my all.  

Juggling three sports and practices is not easy when you still have the daily school grind. I know that academics count and my mother is always reminding me that good grades will help open more doors and open them wider.  As I get ready to enter high school, I know that I will have to keep my nose to the grind. I won’t let up (neither will my mom).
