I don't feel like I am the average baseball player. I don't play just because it's fun or because I like the sport. The reason I play is bigger than baseball and feels bigger than me. Having gone through heartbreak and struggles throughout my upbringing, I've found a connection to this sport like no other. My love to inspire and my passion for the game of baseball is what drives me to be great and strive for the "impossible". I would be a great asset to any team not only because of my athletic ability but because of my ability to be coachable and my hard work ethic. I'm also not afraid to make sacrifices that are going to benefit me in the future. Academically I am a great student and look to pursue Entrepreneurship in college. Ultimately, going through the things I've been through and playing for something that means the world to me is what makes me different from other baseball players. This edge is what gives me an advantage over my competition.
