Tucker Rhodes '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tucker Rhodes and my goals are to play baseball at the best college possible and to be successful after college. 

I am a good candidate for any college team for three reasons.  First, I strive for excellence in the classroom, so performance there will never be a concern.  Second, I try to be a good person and strong leader in all endeavors, so I will be someone the program can point to as a positive contributor to the college.  Third, I am constantly working to be a better baseball player.  I can play 8 different positions in the field, I am big and strong so I get a lot of pop from the plate, and my bat and my legs make me a good contact hitter as well.  I'm striving to be the 5-tool player every team is looking for.

Last season (my freshman season) I broke my back and missed all but the last 3 series.  Being immobilized at practice everyday from January through April, and working only as the announcer on gamedays made me appreciate the opportunity to be on the field all the more.  I'm looking forward to really getting going in 2024.

I aspire to play at the next level, and I am willing to put in whatever work it takes to do that.
