Personal Statement
It has been my goal to play baseball in college since I started playing organized sports. Playing baseball at the collegiate level is both a privilege and an honor.
As a team player, I understand that playing unselfishly improves the performance of my team and increases our winning potential. Part of playing unselfishly is combining passionate leadership with a servant attitude. Volunteering in both the elementary and middle school ministries of Woodstock City Church, gives me the opportunity to practice leading and serving outside of the baseball diamond. I also use these tactics to focus on learning respectfully and studying diligently to prepare in my classroom, in my community, in my home and on the baseball field.
