Personal Statement
My name is Daniel Takayama, Class of 2014, my childhood dream has always been to play collegiate and major league baseball. As I have grown older and a little wiser I have come to realize that to make this childhood dream a reality it takes a lot of hard work on and off the field, determination, humility, sacrifice and a little bit of luck. I know that probably playing for the big leagues is a little far fetch but college ball is an ultimate goal that I intend to achieve. I am a determined, goal oriented, hard worker. I strive to be the best that I can be by living each and every day to it’s fullest. If given the opportunity, I would like to make positive differences at the school that best fits my needs. I am looking for the school that will allow me to succeed as a student athlete while earning a degree in Business/Marketing/Video Production. In ten years I want to see my self with a degree in Marketing/Cinematography and Video Production. It is my goal to be working as a professional for Universal Studios or Paramount in their editing and production department. I would love to make this happen at a school where I can also play baseball. I am hoping that my grades will help me get an academic scholarship or even the thought of an athletic scholarship would be awesome. I look forward to what the future holds for me, and I will do whatever it takes to turn my dreams into reality.
