Cole Young '25 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play collegiate Baseball. I feel led to pursue a degree in biology so that I can someday work for an agency such as Fish & Game or the National Park Service. I aspire to preserve and maintain the wilderness that I love. Aside from from that long-term goal; like many athletes, I have always dreamed of being drafted into the MLB. It may not be in my future but if I don't try, I will never know.  My skills as a ball-player have not yet peaked. I am a strong player but I continue to grow! 

Right now I am focused on my school work, playing ball, becoming a good citizen, and learning useful skills for life. For example, when it came time to drive my own vehicle, I have use of my grandpa's old truck, but it needs some repair. I got a part-time job in the summer in an auto repair shop in order to make the money and learn the needed skills to get my truck up and running. That pretty much sums up who I am. When I have a goal, I will do my best to work for it.
