Dominic Schmittel '24 Recruiting Profile

My priority in life is to work hard in school and my passion in life is baseball.  One of my biggest goals in life is to get into a good college that fits me academically and athletically. I want to be the first person in my immediate family to go to a college and want to continue playing baseball as far as it takes me.  My passion for baseball began when my father started  playing catch with me at 5  years old and have enjoyed playing  it since. Playing baseball has taught me a lot of important lessons in life like dealing with adversity, being a leader, taking direction, and earning opportunities. I have been able to prove my skills  and character by being a good student-athlete. I have the ability to do well academically and to compete for a college team.
