Personal Statement
Being put in situations where you are considered an important role on the team while your team is loosing 10-2 and still keeping my head and encourage others to do the same, makes me a strong leader on and off the field. Being able to teach younger players on the team without criticizing them is important when you are considered a captain for a varsity sport for the past 3 years. When put in good or bad situations i tend to stay humble. Whenever one of my teammates is having a bad game or throws their helmet and bat after a game; I'm always there to pick them up and tell them that another opportunity is coming again. Being responsible and showing up to every practice is something that i show, so younger players can look at me as an example.
