Skylar Williams '15 Recruiting Profile

Baseball has always been everything to me. Every single day I work harder and harder to get better. My goal right now is to play baseball at the collegiate level and hard work and determination are going to get me there. As a hitter I hit for average and always put the ball in play and then look to advance on the base paths. I work up the middle and gap to gap with my swing. I hustle every ground ball and pop fly out. If a blooper falls in I'll  be on second base. As a pitcher I mix up my speeds and use command. I had one of the lowest ERA's on my Sophomore team.  As a pitcher I put everything in to every pitch and never give in. I am a sidearm pitcher and posted a 5-2 record this summer with a 2.31 ERA.. Fall 2014 Chicago Invitational 7.0 innings pitched, 1 hit allowed, 1 unearned run, no earned, 15 strikeouts, no walks, complete game.

In the class room I have also maintained a 3.2 out of 4.0 GPA on a college prep grading scale and I continue to be involved in leadership extra curricular activities such as Junior Leadership Team, Ambassador's Club, and Student Council.
