Nicholas Sewruk '15 Recruiting Profile

UPDATE: I have completed my senior high school season with a 7-2 record with 2 saves. My high school team finished 2nd in conference  with a 25-12 overall record and made it to the 4A Regional Championship game in the state playoffs. I was recently selected by the Beacon News to the "All-Area Team". I also was chosen to the "All Conference" team and won the "Pitcher of the Year" award. In my high school season, I pitched 64.2 innings, 4 complete games, 1.8 ERA, 62 strikeouts with only 8 walks.

I am a 5'11" RHP / 3rd baseman from Montgomery,IL and will graduate in the 2015 class. I have been a starter on the varsity team since my sophomore year. I have been playing travel baseball since I was 9 years old. During the summer season, I play for Kane County Elite travel baseball. This past summer I played on the 18U Kane County Elite team where I was 4-0-2 with a 0.466 ERA. My combined record with my high school summer team was 7-0-2. It has always been a dream of mine to play baseball in college.

I was selected "All Conference" and won the team "Pitcher "award. I was also selected as one of the top juniors in the area and participated in the South Suburban Baseball Showcase.

The major I am interested to study in college is either Accounting or Mathematics. I am looking for a school where I will have a balance of education and athletics, where I feel comfortable in my studies and playing baseball. It is very important to me that I am able to receive personal attention in the classroom.
