Personal Statement
Playing collegiate baseball, my goal is to become a starter and maintain that status. What makes me a good candidate for any baseball program is my character. As a teammate, I feel it is very important that I stay positive and help other teammates play at their maximum potential. I believe this starts at practices. Staying focused during practices will not only help prepare everybody for games but will also get players in a focused mentality during the game. Another thing that makes me a good candidate for any program is my versatility. It's very important to have a player that can play every position and play it well. It takes stress off of coaches knowing that they can fall back on someone in case a player doesn't show up or just couldn't make it to the game. Academically, I feel very confident especially in my core classes. Each semester of my high school years, I have maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher. For these reasons, I will be a valuable asset to any baseball program.
