Personal Statement

I dream of the day my dad puts my D1  college ring on his bookshelf next to my siblings. My family is extremely sports focused with my oldest brother currently in the NFL (Titans), and my two older sisters playing D1 volleyball and graduating from distinguished universities (Northwestern Univ, Georgia Tech & Xavier (HBCU)). I want to follow in their footsteps and mark my legacy next to theirs. They inspire me to not only excel on the court but in the classroom, as my siblings were very successful in their studies and obtained great jobs coming out of college. Off the court, I am also excited to have the opportunity to use my D1 platform to promote social and charitable causes. 

An interesting fact about me is I can hit and serve with both my right and left hand. I started playing volleyball as a right hand hitter, and have trained myself to be a dominant lefty.
