Jonathan Ildefonso '17 Recruiting Profile

~~My name is Jonathan Ildefonso and I am from Rosemont, Illinois.   I have been playing Baseball since I was 5 years old and I have always been passionate about the sport. I am always working hard to improve my skills.  I am very coachable and strive to be a hard working player on and off the field.

In the classroom, I study hard to maintain a high GPA.  I also volunteer as an assistant coach for my little brother’s baseball team and work over the summer as a youth camp counselor and the DOME at the Rosemont ball park.

I am a team player and know the importance of teamwork.  As a versatile player, I can play strong and smart at every position on the field.  My main positions on the field are first base and right hand pitcher (RHP).

My parents have always taught me that anything you want in life you have to work hard for and always follow your dreams.  I understand the commitment and dedication it takes to play baseball at the college level.  I welcome the challenge of continuing my education,playing collegiate baseball and achieving the goals I have set for myself.
