Personal Statement
Coaches:
I have been playing both baseball and basketball for as long as I can remember. I have been around the game of baseball my whole life; my dad was a coach at the Division III level. I found my love for the game from the first moment I could lift a bat, and I have been playing since that day. With my dad being a coach, I spent my young years in a dugout, watching, listening, and learning the game in and out, giving me a chance to understand how the game works, and gaining knowledge on how to act in certain situations through the game. I understand all positions and how to fill in wherever my team needs me.
I have always strived to put my best foot forward, for myself and my team. I have a creative and artistic mind that allows me to see and understand new ways to solve problems. I am always open to trying out new things, adjusting how I do things to better fit with those around me, and produce what is needed. This same mindset is pushing me to advance my education in college, planning to major in Exercise Science. I strive to be my best not only on the field, or the court, but in the community, and in school.
