Personal Statement
Baseball has always been a part of my life and I get a lot of my inspiration from my father who was drafted by the Cardinals as a pitcher. At a young age I was told by a coach that I would never be a pitcher, so ever since then I have been determined to prove him wrong. My dad always saw my potential but I learned that when I have a goal, I am driven to reach it. Along with his inspiration my dad and mom instilled the concept of academics first before sports; to this day I follow that.
I would be a good candidate for many colleges because of the hard work that I put into getting good grades and my craft of baseball. I am able to come home late after school and games or practice, to finish my homework no matter what the time. I am different from others because not only do I motivate myself during highs and lows, but I also do the same for my teammates. I believe this is a great quality to have within a player on your team. I am thankful for you spending the time out of your day reading this and that I hope we can speak soon.
