Peyton Simmons '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Peyton Simmons. I am a senior at Garrett High School, in northeast Indiana. I'm a middle infielder with a very good glove and infield arm. I am a really good contact hitter that won't hit many home-runs, but still drive the ball well. I have above average speed with the ability to steal bases or lay down a bunt for a hit. I have a really high baseball I.Q. I always know what to do with the ball before it comes my way, or if I can catch an opposition base runner to get an extra out. The best part about my game is definitely my fielding and speed. I'm always willing to stay after practice to take a few extra ground balls or get extra cuts in to work on my swing. I was also selected to be part of the Athletic Leadership Council of Garrett High School.
