Hi my name is Drew Horvath. Thanks for viewing my profile. I am a Freshman at Washington Township High School in Valparaiso Indiana. I am an excellent student and a multi-sport athlete, but my passion is Baseball. I have been playing baseball since the age of 6 and started Travel Ball at age 8.
Over the years I have played many positions in the infield and outfield. My current focus is predominantly to Pitch at the college level. My love for the game of baseball grows every year, and my goal is to play for a competitive program at the college level. While I have not completely narrowed down my area of study, I am leaning toward engineering or construction management.
Playing multiple sports (basketball, volleyball, ice hockey, and track/field) in addition to baseball has allowed me to grow as an athlete and a teammate. I strive to be the best I can be both on and off the field. I embrace the challenge of facing the toughest hitters when I’m on the mound. I take my training very seriously and encourage my teammates to work equally as hard. I will continue to push myself, and I am determined to make my dream of playing college baseball come true.
