Jake Miller '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Miller, I am the youngest of four siblings. Baseball is an inspiration which I share with my two older brothers, my grandpa, and my cousin, Scott Schebler, who's career took him to the MLB.

I aspire to continue playing baseball in college, while I work on my degree in engineering. My dream is to follow my cousin's footsteps and make it to the major leagues. 

My dedication is evident on and off the field. I carry the discipline I have learned from the game to all aspects of my life. I strive to maintain my 4.0 GPA, while staying involved in student council, attend youth group, participate in mock trial, and volunteer to bring awareness and aid to mental health issues.  

As the youngest of four and having baseball in my blood, I recognize the value of being a coachable player. Any good player is not only going to be coachable, but also a leader on the team. Being a leader to me means leading by example. I strive to hustle the hardest, put in time outside of practice, and create a positive atmosphere in the dugout. Baseball is a sport of excellence and that includes sportsmanship. Sportsmanship during the game and during practice, on or off the field, baseball is not just a game it is a way of life.
