Cody Berry '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a Varsity starter and began playing JV as an 8th grader. I have played for my high school team for 4 years and my travel team for 6 years. Our summer team is a travel only team so that we can play at a more competitive level and improve our skills. We will be playing about 50 games this year. I play for the only homeschool high school team in the area and we play approximately 30 games during the season. I strive to become better and I am a team player. I am currently taking speed and agility training lessons in order to improve my skills on the field. I consistently work on technique and skills throughout the off-season so that I can excel during the upcoming season.  

      In addition to playing baseball, I homeschool full time and also work part time as a dog sitter and own my own local lawn care business. I am currently taking Dual Enrollment courses to be better prepared for college. I competitively show livestock such as chickens, pigs and dairy steers in our 4-H program as well. 

      As a student, I am taking dual enrollment classes and maintaining a 4.0- GPA. I am a fast learner, and work hard both on and off the field in order to excel in all areas of my life. I am studying for the ACT and SAT so that I can score well during my upcoming test. I plan to pursue a degree in Business with plans to attend Law School after my Bachelors.
