Personal Statement

My main goal in life is to play baseball for as long as I can and at the highest levels I can. I want to play in college while pursuing a degree that is meaningful and can help me with life after baseball. A few reasons why I would make a great candidate for any team is because I love to put in the work necessary to succeed! Such as, I am often if not always the first one to practice, and one of the last ones to leave, I always want to go an extra round in the batting cage, and I love the weight room! You can find me there almost every day of the week besides the weekends (and even then I still work out at home.) Academics is something I've always wanted to succeed in, some kids are okay with getting b's and c's in school, but for myself that is unacceptable. I put forth my best effort in the classroom to get the best grades I can. My best quality with academics is my desire to learn and understand everything I can. Many of these traits can be attributed to where I was raised, and that is a small Christian community where everyone is supportive. My parents have always supported my decisions and helped me along the way, always encouraging me to try new things. I am a team player, and always will be, because as long as my team is doing well and I am doing everything in my power to contribute I am happy and proud to be part of that team!
