Personal Statement

My name is Jakub McLean. I am a baseball player out of Star, Ms. Since I started playing baseball its been a dream of mine to play college baseball. My goal for college is to better myself as a player, and to one day play Major League baseball. I see myself as a good candidate because I am easily taught. I'll listen to any help that will better me as a player and/or a person. My character is a very good trait of mine. I've always been very sportsman like on the field. In the athletic aspect, I am a very strong athlete. I've always been very competitive, but I also have fun playing.  I can play any position I am put at.  I've started many positions in varsity as a freshman, and also started varsity as an 8th grader. Academically, I am good. My grades have always been good. I've always strived for good grades, and to be the best I can be on and off the field.
