I have played the sport of baseball since I was able to walk. You could not find me without a bat and ball in hand. Playing ball from such a young age  sparked my hard-working attitude and competitive spirit that would continue to all aspects of my life. I was always taught that academics came first, and I still abide by that rule. I understand that you have to put time and effort into everything you want, and that nothing in life is given to you. I work for everything that I passionately believe in, and will not let any obstacle get in the way of me and my dream.
