2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Sam Jones I will be graduating in the year 2024. My top three strengths are I am a hard worker whether it is in the weight room on the field or in the cages I push myself every day to be better than the day before. I have been playing since I was 4 years old in my many years on the field and my journey to get my eagle for scouts has taught me strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and bring out the best in people. My determination and self-discipline have allowed me to reach any goal that I set before myself or my team. Like most people on here, my goal is to go to the MLB and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get there. I am looking forward to the opportunities ahead and if given the chance I will be a valued asset to any team.

- AwardsThis is not an achievement but I did want to explain my grades. I have been struggling with school for several years and learning virtually did not help. I was finally tested this year and was diagnosed with ADHD and some testing issues. I started a new program in the middle of second semester to help with some of my concentration and test anxiety issues. Unfortunately during that time my mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor and the trauma of that set me back. Once she was doing better and with my new program in place I really began to turn things around and was able to manage my time and assignment better. I am confidant that my 21-22 grades will be much better.
