My goals are to play college baseball at the highest level I can achieve while getting a solid education. Following college, I am hoping to get an opportunity to play professional baseball. My father was a hall of famer for Stanford University in baseball followed by a 6 year major league baseball career with the Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates. He lived his dream and I am working hard to follow his path while at the same time making my own story. I pride myself on being a good teammate, my work ethic, and hustle. I try to apply those characteristics in all aspects of my life including the classroom. I believe in my abilities in all aspects of the game and I know I can be a productive teammate for whatever college team is interested in me. I feel what separates me from others is the full package I can offer from being a good student, to hitting with power, to playing multiple positions, and being able to throw 4 pitches for strikes. I have a strong ability to create spin while pitching and for my age I am a hard thrower whose velocity has been increasing each year. I understand the need to improve and and I have been working hard to get better in all aspects.
Sincerely, Kyren Ballard
