Gavin Steiner '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gavin Steiner. I am a 2024 graduate from Saint Joseph Academy in Hammonton, New Jersey. I am a primary Right Handed Pitcher and a secondary 1st baseman. I have been raised on values to always respect your coaches, teammates, and officials. I am an extremely dedicated and hard worker both on the field and in the classroom. I recently finished with a 4.46 weighted GPA after my Junior year. Managing grades and baseball at the same time has taught me great discipline and time management skills. I am always the first one to arrive to a practice and or workout and the last one to leave. I always give 100 percent on and off the field. I feel that asking questions is an essential part of growth not only as a student but an athlete as well.  I am never afraid to ask coaches about what I need to work on and or fix and implement their suggestions. I have always been committed to the game that I love and I have never let anyone get in the way of that. I have the biggest heart and the biggest work ethic when it comes to baseball. All of my coaches have taught me the mentality of "working in silence", and I have always stuck true to that and kept my head down and focused on the goal. I will always give it my best and compete for a spot on the field. Overall, I am not just a dedicated ballplayer but a strong and well rounded person with heart and mind that doesn't quit!  I would love for you to consider me for an opportunity to play for your program as there is so much I can bring to your program both on and off the field.
