As a Freshman in high school, I am well aware that my future as an athlete and a student is determined by the effort I put in to my aspirations. My goal is to play for a competitive college baseball team. Unlike most candidates, I have devoted a lot of time into becoming an avid chess player. This hard work and mental strengthening translates onto the baseball field. As a pitcher, I can make quick adjustments after throwing a pitch in a spot that I was not going for. I am committed too baseball and use all my time wisely in so that I can get all my school work completed in a timely fashion. I am good at prioritizing my work so on a team, I will focus a countless number of hours on improving my game even after pitching well. I am always trying to improve whether that means strengthening my arms and legs for velocity or doing towel drills to perfect my mechanics. I have been taught by Gregg Downing who was drafted by the Dodgers. He has shown me how to throw my dipping three finger changeup and how to make sure I do not hurt my arm. My devotion, athletic ability, and smart mentality makes me a good candidate for any team looking for an extra arm in their rotation.
