I'm Brenden Poindexter, class of 2020. I have been in love with the game of baseball my whole life. At the age of two, I began tossing a wiffle ball into the air and hitting it over my house. I began playing on a team at the age of three and never stopped. I want to continue playing baseball in college, and beyond. I work hard, and I have been recognized for my efforts by my coaches, teammates, and others in my baseball family.
I'm a cancer survivor, so I know what it means to fight and not give up. In fact, I tried out and made the Owasso High School baseball team while I was going through chemo. I have worked to get my body and strength back, and better than it ever was before. I don't give up, I will not quit!
