When I was a freshman we won the Oklahoma 6a State Championship. This achievement has been one of my biggest accomplishments of my high school career. My sophomore year I didn't play as much; however, I didn't get down on myself. I just kept going on and playing the game the best way I know how. Balls to the wall, one-hundred percent, from the word go. Now going into my junior year I am focused on getting better. Doing the little things and improving myself at least one percent every day.
I don't just want to go to school to play ball. I want to further my education and set myself up for a more successful life after sports are over. I want to study business, and become a personal financial advisor. One of the biggest obstacles in my life was losing my step-dad. In July of 2015, I lost my step-dad who was the biggest influence in my life and athletic career. When I was three he put a bat in my hand, gave me a glove, and began to teach me everything he knew about the game. After he passed I have been even more determined to make it to college and play the sport that bonded him and I together.
