Hello, my name is Colby Welsh and I am going to be a senior at Devon Prep in Devon Pa. I have wanted to continue playing baseball in college for as long as I can remember. My primary positions are OF/MIF/RHP. I have been a utility player for my high school team this past season, as I have played everywhere in the outfield, shortstop, and second base
This past high school season we were faced with some adversity. The adversity allowed me to help step up as a leader on the team. I was able to play a number of different positions due to my travel baseball experience. I was also able to contribute by having a positive attitude in the face of adversity. I play hard and give 110 percent in practices and every game. I listen to and respect my coaches as well as my teammates. I feel my experience, versatility and positive attitude are a valuable asset to any team.
I will be playing for Downingtown Baseball Club 17u this summer and will be pitching, playing the outfield and the middle infield. I hope you have the chance to watch me playing at one of the showcases I will be attending this summer.
