My collegiate goal is to earn a degree in Education or Counseling while continuing to play baseball. As a freshman in high school I made the decision to leave my home school, as well as, my baseball teammates to attend a technical high school and enroll in their Sports and Exercise Science program. I have learned a lot from this experience, including the type of culture I want to be in and the path I want to take to pursue my career goals. As a catcher I pride myself on being the voice of my team and I truly enjoy all of the challenges of playing the position. There is no place I would rather be than behind the plate. I contribute a lot of my discipline from lessons I have learned both there and on the wrestling mat. At the end of the day my priorities are pretty simple... education, baseball and family.
