Taylor Jeter '24 Recruiting Profile

The goal that I have worked for and continued to work for is to play college baseball. What makes me a great candidate for a college baseball team is that I am a leader who can direct a team to the light in dim situations whether it is on the field, in the weight room or in the team class room. I am also a reliable spark plug who can pick a team up even when a team is completely down. What makes me different from the other recruits in character is that I have a true love for the game of baseball. It was nothing that I was ever forced to do it has just always been a grit mindset that I want to be better than the other guy. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that I didn't get any work in during a day and some other 2024 recruit across the nation has. It shows I'm different from other recruits on the field because I play with very high energy and passion. The game comes down to having fun at the end of the day, so if a kid is on the baseball field and isn't having fun then he's wasting their time and it's something I have seen in opponents and sometimes even in my own teammates during instances. What makes me different in the classroom than other recruits is that I have the ability to balance out workouts, practices, and training with all of my schoolwork without excuses. Some guys use baseball as an assignment for missing work or some guys don't even believe good grades are needed in school to make it into college.
