Personal Statement
Like my parents have always stressed to me, grades come first and hard work pays off! I am a firm believer of that too. Grades are the most important factor for any athlete who wants to play any collegiate sport. I try very hard in school to get the best possible grades that I can acquire. That being said, I will do whatever it takes for me to be able to get into any program that gives me a chance. My personal goal as a player is to be able to play college ball and even go beyond that to play until I physically can't contribute anything to the game of baseball anymore.
From an athletic stand point, my contribution to a team is to play my role and help everyone around me succeed and to better the team as a whole so we can face adversity together and overcome our challenges in game situations. In the future I would love to be able to use my degree and provide for my family the best way I can and give them a better life than what I had if possible. I believe that I am different from other recruits in character because I love the game of baseball so much and like connecting with my teammates and getting to know their weaknesses and strengths so I can provide the most effective input to their game.
