Personal Statement

My dream is and has always been to compete at the highest levels.  The ultimate goal is to play professionally.  I understand the dedication, sacrifice and commitment it will take in order to achieve these goals and I am prepared to do whatever it takes to get there.  Some may play for fun, some may play for fame and money, I play because I love the game.

This summer I was fortunate enough to be nominated and selected to compete in the Sunbelt classic, representing Team Texas. It was a terrific experience getting to play with a talented group of players from all around the state.  Our team won the event and I was able to earn the MVP award for the tournament.

In August I went to Florida to participate in the USSSA All American games.  An invite only event with 9 participants being selected to the 1st team ALL American team that will travel internationally in 2014 to Prague.  After a pro style workout and two days of competition I was lucky enough to be named to the 1st team and I look forward to joining the team next June for our trip to compete in Prague.
