Personal Statement
~~My goal is to play baseball at the collegiate level in 2015. I have a passion for all sports and played both basketball and baseball in High School. I played varsity all 4 years in both sports. I will pursue my baseball passion in college since that is my ultimate goal of playing collegiate baseball.
I am extremely dedicated and believe that my hard work over the last 16 years will lead to a successful baseball scholarship. In my junior year, I was awarded MVP of my team, MVP of the league and First Team All State. I have played both league and select baseball for the past 3+ years in HS and all thru my early years. I have been fortunate enough to receive some extremely good coaching in my years that have allowed me to develop strong core skills and excel in the field, at pitching and at the plate.
In school, I have remained dedicated to exceptional scores. I have taken honors classes in AP English, AP History and AP Geometry. I have maintained a grade point of 3.00. This was extremely challenging with my sports activities. I continue to play on select and league teams into the fall, thus I play sports in all seasons.
I believe this pursuit of excellence in academic’s and my love for baseball builds my character and will lead me to reaching my collegiate goals to playing baseball. My promise to my team, coach and college is to give all my efforts, to stay focused on my goals and be the best player, teammate and person I can in my 4 years of college. I believe this will lead me and give me the skills to pursue my lifetime goals after college.
