Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Jared Carney. I am a to-be junior at New Glarus High School in the class of 2018. I have started on my Varsity team both years and have never sat a game. I am a RHP and play SS when I am not pitching. I also bat in the 3 spot on my High School team. I won team MVP both years, and was recently awarded 2nd Team ALL CONFRENECE my Sophomore season. During the summer, I am playing with a new program called "Silver Sluggers". It is coached by former MLB pitcher Brad Woodall, and several other MLB, Minor League, and collegiate level players and coaches. I am very exited for what the future holds. My fastball is recorded by them at 74 mph and my curveball at 56 mph.
