3/15/16 - 5-foot-9, 145-pound outfielder, lean athletic shape. Defensively showed good outfield actions, plays through the baseball with a crowhop, natural actions, fluid footwork. Arm action is short and over the top, flashed carry, 80 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, short stride. Flashed quick hands, short path, line drive type hitter, fast bat. 79 mph exit velocity from the tee. On the mound works with some effort, tall balance point. Arm action is short, quick arm, over the top slot. Fastball sat 75-77 mph, mostly straight, four seam type. Curveball has 10/4 action, 57-63 mph, gets on the side. Changeup has near fastball arm speed, showed feel, 63-66 mph.

12/27/2015 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 Sabastian is a coachable player who hustles all over the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through an athletic setup. Hands are quick/loose and aggressive as he attacks balls through a direct / level swing path. He has strength in his swing with baseball jumping off the bat when centered as he works inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. At the event, he was 4 for 7 with a 3B. At SS, he is a smooth / fluid fielder with athletic actions. Presenting his glove more out in front will help to avoid getting the �in between� hop. He gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and on line carry to his throws. On the mound, he works through a strong balance point and uses his lower half well. Fastball shows in the mid 70 range with arm side run & sink. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break - proving to be a solid out pitch. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for with sinking action. Control is a plus as he attacks hitters, throwing strikes with all his pitches and working the corners. With 5 years to further develop, Sabastian has the makings of a special type player, possibly as a two-way guy.
