Lou Gehrig, Bart Starr, Reggie White, Michael Jordan, these are all great men/athletes, remodels one might say, in their chosen sport. I look up to them, respect them and celebrate them, but I do not want to be them, because as great as these athletes are/were, I want to define my own greatness. I want to push myself to become the best I can be and the push myself to be better that I think I ever could be. Talent, ability, drive, and a spot on a team is a privilege not a right. I am the only one that can make it happen and if I do not earn it then I will be admiring the men that do, but I can promise you that I will be me and once you meet me you will know that ordinary is not a resting place for me, I will earn a place because of my dedication, skills and hard, hard work. I look forward to each and every opportunity that I may earn for myself.
