Personal Statement

I am so excited  to share my enthusiasm for cheerleading and highlight the distinctive qualities that set me apart as a prospective member of your collegiate cheerleading team. As a high school student maintaining a continued 4.0 GPA and a decade of competitive cheer experience, I offer a multifaceted skill set that extends beyond the mat. In addition to cheerleading, my involvement in various extracurricular activities shows my commitment to a well-rounded collegiate experience. I love playing violin and participate in my HS orchestra as well as being passionate in theater where I have both performed and worked tech behind the scenes, and actively engage in coaching for little cheerleaders for the last 2 years. These diverse interests contribute to my perseverance, responsibility, and leadership  needed to excel in multiple aspects of college life. Ten years of cheerleading have not only refined my technical skills but have also instilled a deep understanding of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. I approach challenges with determination and embrace the physical and mental demands associated with competitve collegiate-level cheerleading. Academically, my consistent 4.0 GPA reflects my dedication, time management skills, and the ability to excel academically while actively participating in extracurricular activities. My character is further shaped by my involvement in cheer coaching, where I share my knowledge and passion for the sport to younger athletes.  My participation in Spanish Club showcases my commitment to learn cultural awareness and increase diversity, values that align with the inclusivity and teamwork in cheerleading. In conclusion, my background in cheerleading, along with my involvement in violin, theater, coaching, and other extra-curricular activities , presents me as a well-rounded candidate for your collegiate cheerleading team. I am excited about the prospect of contributing to the collegiate cheer team's success and spirit.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
