Hi! My name is Haddijatou Jammeh but friends and family call me Haddy for short. I am currently a junior at Newburgh Free Academy (North Campus). I've been cheering since my freshman year and have been on the team consecutively since. I have competed at local competitions, section championships and cheered at football games. I did gymnastics for a year when I was 6, then for another year when I was 11, then did tumbling at a gym this past summer.
When I am not cheering, I also run track for my school, and specialize in hurdles.
I want to study broadcast journalism or communications in college because I feel like the subject gives me an opportunity to learn about many different things while educating others, as well as public speaking and being in front of a camera which gives me an opportunity to express my extrovert personality.
