My names is Emma Highley and am part of the Class of 2025. I am a hard working athlete who can balance academics as well as athletics. I have been a part of the cheerleading community since I was a sideline cheerleader in kindergarten. Along with being a Varsity cheerleader, I love competition cheerleading and just recently was a side base for our U-17 Level 3 squad that won gold at All Star Worlds in Orlando Florida. I was initially on a recreation cheer competition squad and then progressed to being on an all star elite squad for five years. This year I am a backspot on a Junior Level 3 squad. Both sideline cheer and all star cheer is my main passion in life and I enjoy being part of a team for both for my Varsity and All-Star Cheer teams. I want to pursue a degree in Biology to be able to work at a zoo or an aquarium to train and care for animals. When I am not at cheerleading practice, I volunteer at my local zoo and help with activities including the giraffe feedings. My goal is to be able to educate people on animal conservation along with providing care for animals while hopefully continue with cheerleading after college at a local gym through coaching.
