Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Alexandra Murawski, I go by Alex. I am currently a senior at Alexandria City High School, formerly known as T.C. Williams High School you may recognize from “Remember the Titans”. I have the intention of becoming a medical professional with hopes of being a college cheerleader during that pursuit. I have been dual-enrolled at GW University in the Health Sciences program for four years of high school and am also taking Honors classes. I plan to become a pediatric surgeon or possibly a registered nurse or physicians assistant. I have been a flyer in All-star travel cheerleading since I was nine years old and on my High School Varsity cheerleading team for the past four years. I have also been coaching the tiny age group team at my All-Star travel gym for two years. I love cheerleading and am driven to continue throughout my college career. I am a serious athlete and have excellent sportsmanship and integrity. As a teammate, I try to excel while also encouraging my entire team to do the same. I expect to be taken seriously as an athlete and scholar while removing images of what stereotypical cheerleading athletes are thought to be. Like many other students, I struggled with virtual learning during my junior year but have overcome that obstacle and am strongly focused on the future.
