In my first year as the starting varsity goalie our team made it to the second round of playoffs, which at that time was the farthest a field hockey team had gone in our school's history. We surpassed that in my second year when we became Mid Wach Division I Champions and State finalists. I was lucky enough to be awarded Best Goalkeeper in Mid Wach A, and it's also an honor that I have been chosen as our team captain for next season in my senior year. My GPA is 3.86, and I am a hard-working well rounded student. I plan to major in music. It was very disappointing that we did not win state finals, but I felt like I played my best. A local newspaper's headline the following day was titled, "Moreland makes a stand for Algonquin- Tomahawk goalie keeps it close with unique style." I feel I would be a great addition to any team, because I strive to win but I also love the family aspect that a college team will bring. I am open to any region of the country; I am just looking for a place where I can pursue the two things that I love, which are field hockey and music.
