Personal Statement
My name is Jenna Baxter. I am 15 years old and I am a Sophmore at Noble High School. I started field hockey in the 1st grade and I love the sport because of the camaraderie. We get to celebrate wins, getting goals, and we get to hug it out when we lose. I love the team bonding and friendships that I have created.
I love playing for NorthEast Elite and having the opportunity to grow into a MidFielder/ Defensive player. I love how being a forward for most of my field hockey career has given me the abilty to see the full field more clearly and the ability to know where to place the ball.
I have been to the Futures Nationals and I love learning new drills and stick skills from the Futures program. One of my favorite stick skills from Futures is learning the proper way to sweep and also learning how to improve my foot work. I love meeting new people and making new friends while playing field hockey. I want to play field hockey at a high level D1 school in college.
