Dear Coach,
I am a 15 year old male athlete. I currently play ice hockey (defenseman) and Field Hockey Goalkeeper. I know at this time there are no college field hockey programs for men, however, I hope this will soon change. I love field hockey and I'm making strides at this time to play as much as possible and gain experience. I was selected for the US Men's Junior National Team this year and am honored to be able to represent my country. I am very interested in finding a practice player position with a college so that I can keep my training at the highest level.
While I live in an area where field hockey is relatively new, I am traveling to camps and tournaments across the country to further develop my goalkeeper skills.
I am goal oriented and do not mind breaking new ground in a field that has not been very popular with males in the United States in the past.
Thank you for your time.
Luke Jackson
