Update 12/21/13 - Named 1st Team All-State for the second year in a row. I am honored.
Update: 12/23/13 - 1st Team All Area/All Tennessee Valley
Update 12/5/2013 - We just won another State Championship! I was honored to receive the Defensive MVP award. Madison Academy goes undefeated to win back-to-back State Championships. I ended my senior season with 161 tackles.
2013 Season Note - I started at Tight End for 7 games this season. Our starting Tight End fought a knee injury throughout the season. Also, our starting defense was pulled at halftime for 5 games this season. This was due to a very lopsided score by halftime.
Next 6 months - Work hard to become the best high school linebacker in Alabama and help lead my high school to another state championship. Next 12 months - Excel in academics, work hard to earn a college scholarship to play football at a school where I can grow as a person and start building my future. Next 5 years - Further develop my knowledge of football and become an excellent and highly competitive college football player. 5+ years - depending on where football and my college education take me, become a defensive football coach where I can grow my career by learning and making a meaningful impact on the lives of young football players. Goal - play football at the highest level possible and see where my hard work, perseverance, discipline and dedication take me.
