Since I began playing football in third grade, I have always aspired to play at the collegiate level. This past season was amazing. With the help of my teammates, I was selected as the National Homeschool Division 2 Player of the Year and was an all-state selection. Even though our team goals were not accomplished, I hope my teammates will be just as proud in sharing this accomplishment with me. My goals are to continue to improve academically, to work out to get bigger and stronger, to work on my speed and to improve on my skills as a receiver. This summer I plan on attending some combines specific to receivers/skill positions to work on my craft.
This year I was fortunate enough to be in the top 5 in our division in the nation in receiving yards, rushing yards, scoring and all-purpose yard. Next year I hope our team reaches its goals to win enough to advance to the state playoffs and possibly the state championship. I also want to be a leader on the field and off the field to my teammates by how I conduct myself and how hard I work.
By playing in college, I look forward to the collegiate experience as a student athlete and like in high school, hope to be a leader on the field and in the club house.
